Approach

I love creating films. They are an incredible way of creating a moving portrait of life right now and capture emotions, interactions and intimacy in a way that photos don't.

They're an investment for your future self and your family, and truly a time capsule, which I assure you, you will cherish.

I am committed to creating beautiful pieces in a non-intrusive, respectful and authentic way which showcases the beauty of human connection and love in its most raw form- everyday life.

Journey

I've always had an interest in photography and filmmaking but it wasn't until I had my daughter in 2019 that I really realised the fragility of time and how important it is to capture moments. In the first 6 months of her life, I ended up with about 1000 videos and pictures of her. The memory on my phone became so crammed and I just didn't know what to keep or delete. I also knew I didn't want these precious memories to just sit on my phone, but I had no idea where to store them.

After this point, I made a commitment to be more present and to just take a moment every now and then when we're at home playing or out adventuring to capture life right now and include as many little details as possible as well as including myself in the frame.

This was the start of my journey as a family filmmaker and since then, I've had the joy of offering a family film service to families- old and young. It offers you the chance to be in the picture with your family and to have all the little details and love you share captured in a way that is raw, natural and beautiful.

Inspiration

Becoming a parent was the most incredible and transformative experience. I felt compelled to document our lives together and curate a library of living memory to gift my daughter. She is my inspiration. Films quickly became an integral part of this process and I realised that so many families see the value in documenting their own stories. I find it an incredibly emotional, rewarding and joyful experience. I love watching each session unfold and navigating individual narratives.

It's the most wonderful, cathartic and fulfilling job.
